Xiaomi Redmi Note 10Pro VS Samsung A52

The first few months of 2021 have been excitingly wild in the Smartphone Galaxy. Even while we await the Apple iPhone’s 13 series much later, we already have ourselves quite a QC in a view of Samsung and Xiaomi continuing from where they finished last year.  🐐🐐

Keep Calm, haha. I am not here to discuss those flagship devices in Mi 11 Ultra and S21 Ultra,  I’m focused on the mid range segment here and that deals with A seriesSamsung and Redmi seriesXiaomi.  😌 The mid range devices over the years from both brands have seen mid range specs combined with some flagship specs. Well of course, this isn’t Tecno or Infinix… Lmao, Gadgets😂😂🤣🤣.

So we have the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro and Samsung A52 here for comparisons. It’s a popular opinion that everything still revolves round subjectivity which means my job here is to relate the two devices and give you reasons to pick one ahead of the other while you do the final judgement.

Redmi Note 10 Pro

Released March 24 2021, Redmi Note 10 Pro also known as Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in the Indian market came out will all guns blazing. A complete upgrade on the 9 Pro is what we have here.  You get a 120HZ Super AMOLED display, 108MP camera, Snapdragon 732G SoC, big battery and fast charging. You also have dedicated symmetrical speakers – yet another feature that’s not widely available even on the most expensive phones (the flagships usually favor hybrid setups).

TheRedmi Note 10 Pro is IP53-rated for dust and water protection – a very nice touch. This means the phone is dust-proof and can endure light splashes or rain.

Samsung A52

Things get a lot more impressive in the Samsung A series when we compare the A52 with last year’s Galaxy A51 . Samsung in recent years has designed the A series to be in a form of budget and flagship level series which makes you wonder “hmmm, interesting”.

You  get a 90Hz refresh rate, IP67 rating, stereo speakers, a big 4,500 mAh battery, with 25W charging and a higher-res 64MP main camera, with OIS. I am really a fan of OIS lol .

  • Comes with a 520 mAh larger battery – 5020 versus 4500mAh
  • Higher display refresh rate – 120 Hz > 90Hz
  • 108MP Main Camera (explained in the latter part of the post)
  • Bluetooth 5.1 > 5.0
  • UFS 2.2 > 2.1
  • Higher maximum display brightness (1200 vs 800 nits)
  • Higher Snapdragon 732G > 720G
  • HDR10 Display
  • Infrared Port
  • Glass Back
  • Fast Charging Rate 33W > 25W
  • Touch Sampling Rate 240Hz > 180Hz

Samsung A52 ☑️

  • EIS in both front and back camera
  • 1TB extendable memory
  • Selfie Camera is 32MP
  • Weighs less
  •  higher pixel density (407 vs 395 PPI)
  • A better IP Rating
  • One UI is better in RAM Management

I mentioned 108MP in the pros of the Redmi Note 10 Pro and this is what I was actually trying to say; We all know it’s not the Mega Pixels that counts here but the sensor. The Redmi Note 10 Pro is equipped with the 108MP f/1.9 Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, which adds 9 pixels into 1 for a 12MP images.  I would easily take this ahead of the Samsung A52’s.

True that the Samsung Galaxy A52 has an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This helps to improve quality in photography and videography. I love that feature a lot.

My Take

If you want a longer battery life, a proper gaming smartphone and a better display (OLED + 120Hz), Infrared port, faster storage capability and eeehm, a bigger phone in terms of inches, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is the one to buy.💥

However, when it comes to camera (it has OIS) and durability (water resistant), the Galaxy A52 is better. That doesn’t mean it lacks in other areas. No. It just happens the Redmi Note 10 Pro dominates better in those areas.😊

If I’m to rate these two smartphones over 100%. The Galaxy A52 takes (48%). While the Redmi Note 10 Pro gets (52%).

You can drop yours in the comment section. 😄😎

Nevertheless, having a “NOTE” device as a midrange phone is petty. They topped some specs, but most of them aren’t really core

    All the best, we move

When we talk about Xiaomi, Redmi is the midrange series here. the Note in principle doesn’t necessarily mean it is going to be a climax of specs. It’s just a higher valuation of the normal vanilla series. I doubt if you even understand what I just wrote.
