How To Create FTP Account on QServers
FTP is short for File Transfer Protocol. A protocol is a set of rules that networked computers use to talk to one another. And FTP is the language that computers on a TCP/IP network (such as the internet) use to transfer files to and from each other. It was one of the easiest terms i got familiarized to when i started my web adventure. This is a means for you to be able to upload files and manage your files without logging in directly to your QServers Account.
I believe you have a host set up already if you are in need of this tutorial. Let us get down to business as we are about to open our FTP account.
STEP 1
Log on to QServers

STEP 2
Click anywhere on your service package
STEP 3
Click Linux web Hosting

STEP 4
Login to cPanel

STEP 5
Click FTP Accounts

STEP 6
Fill in your details
Your username, password and make sure to leave the directory box empty so that you can have direct access to the fort folder which is Public_html

STEP 7
Configure your FTP Details

CONCLUSION
If you follow all the above steps accurately, you would have successfully created your first FTP Account. The Question now is How do I use it to upload and manage my files?. Yeah. I will be discussing that in my next post. Stay updated 🤞
