What I Do
Ecommerce or electronic commerce, refers to transactions conducted via the internet.
Every time individuals and companies are buying or selling products and services online , they are engaging in e-commerce. Not to be confused with a business website, with an ecommerce website you can add products or services into your cart, and pay for them through the site.
These are web sites that are dedicated to providing information. These information web sites might be catering to a niche industry or be wider in their scope because of which they can be labelled as “news portals“. Information websites can also be used as school, church, company, organization or small scale business websites.
A blog features regularly updated articles, photos and videos. Blogs started with more casual, personal content compared to magazines. But since then, the lines have blurred, and now it’s extremely common for major brands and businesses to have their own blog
A portfolio website allows creative professionals a place for showcasing their best work. This is perfect for artists, writers, designers, filmmakers, furniture builders—you name it.
A landing page is a specific page type created for a marketing campaign that drives visitors to take a specific action.
The content on a landing page should be limited and point toward the call-to-action (CTA) you’d like the user to take. Allow plenty of white space around your CTA and save elements not related to the purpose of that campaign for other pages.
A business website is any kind of website that represents your business. Even small local businesses need a simple online presence (see ‘Brochure’ below) to be taken seriously in today’s digitally-minded world.
Media websites contain regularly updated content on current affairs, weather, sports and entertainment. News sites like CNN and entertainment sites like ELLE both fall into this category.
The content on media sites is dynamic, meaning it’s updated regularly. Big media sites will publish multiple articles and videos every single day.
Educational websites use any combination of games, articles, videos and images to educate their audience. These might be geared towards fun learning for children, or offer courses to adults, such as Coursera and EdX.
The goal is discovering your brand’s identity and leveraging its power across all current platforms.
When a Branding and Identity design is established, it creates a powerful connection between a customer and the product ot service. It conveys the message required by the company to generate business.
